C.L.C.A is a Khmer managed non government organization that provides shelter, food, education and vocational training for orphans, poor children and street children of Cambodia since 1995. We are running two in Phnom Penh and one in Siem Riep. Currently there are around 200 children in our care. These children are the poorest of the poor, but at the same time they are The Light of Cambodia. We are not part of any other organization, governmental or non governmental. All of our staff members are volunteers, so money is spent directly on our children. |

 The Cambodian Light Children's Association was founded in 1995 by the present managing director and ex-Buddist monk Mr. Pat Noun.
Living conditions in the orphaneges are still very poor. Mr. Pat Noun has no regular form of income and has to find $3000 every month for food, water and electricity by going around his contacts and basicaly begging for money. |
